Established national practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Houston office to grow corporate and intellectual property capabilities. The role will have a strong focus on M&A, corporate governance, emerging growth/startups and IP (including patent litigation), with flexibility to collaborate across related litigation and benefits matters.

The firm is looking for a partner with a portable practice and demonstrable client-development skills who can contribute revenue and help expand regional market presence. You will work with cross-practice teams on transactional and contested matters and have the opportunity to shape practice growth locally.

Partner-level experience with a proven track record in corporate work, IP (including patent litigation), or closely related fields
Portable practice or established client relationships and clear business development ability
Experience leading deals, managing litigation teams, and mentoring associates
Admission to the state bar and ability to practice in the U.S.; regional flexibility
