Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Irvine office to build and lead business in corporate transactions, intellectual property (including patent litigation) and related commercial litigation. The role is focused on growing a portable practice and collaborating across practices to expand regional capabilities.

The ideal hire will have an established client base and the ability to originate and drive matters, working closely with transactional, IP and ERISA/compensation teams. The team offers flexible compensation structures and support for partners who bring a portable book of business.

Partner-level experience in corporate transactions, IP litigation or commercial litigation
Proven portable client base and demonstrated origination record
Substantive experience in M&A, corporate governance, or emerging growth/startups; patent litigation experience preferred where applicable
Ability to work collaboratively across practices and help grow a regional office
