Leading global law firm seeks a partner to join its San Francisco corporate team with a strong focus on technology and intellectual property matters. The role combines corporate transactional work (M&A, private equity and capital markets) with technology transactions and IP-related commercial matters, and will collaborate closely with national and international practice groups.

The position is suited to a senior lawyer who can originate and steward client relationships, lead cross-office deal teams, and act as a visible market-facing partner in the technology, life sciences or financial-services sectors. The group is growing and prioritizes candidates who can develop or expand a portable practice in corporate/IP/tech disciplines.

Established partner-level track record in M&A, capital markets and/or technology transactions; IP-related transactional or litigation experience a strong plus.
Proven history of client origination and developing a portable practice or book of business.
Experience leading multi-jurisdictional teams and working with national/international offices.
Excellent commercial judgment, strong technical skills, and demonstrable sector expertise (technology, life sciences, financial services or energy preferred).
Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or able to be admitted.
