Partner — Corporate & IP / Energy, Washington, D.C.

Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a mixed corporate, intellectual property and energy practice in the Washington, D.C. office of a well-regarded national law firm. The role focuses on M&A, private equity and transactional work, with significant engagement in life sciences and energy-related matters.

The firm is looking for an experienced deal lawyer who can manage complex cross-practice transactions, advise on corporate governance, and support business development. A portable practice or demonstrable book of business in corporate/M&A, PE or life sciences-related IP is welcome.

• Partner-level experience handling M&A, private equity and other complex corporate transactions.
• Demonstrated experience with intellectual property issues in transactional or life-sciences contexts.
• Track record of client development and ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
• Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to work in Washington, D.C.
