Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen a dual corporate and commercial litigation capability in the Washington, D.C. market. The role combines high-value transactional work with major commercial disputes across regulated and commercial sectors.

Ideal candidates will have an established practice focused on sectors such as life sciences, financial services, technology, energy and related industrial clients. The team-oriented hire will help expand transactional volume and lead significant commercial litigation matters, working with cross‑jurisdictional teams covering U.S. and key international markets.

There is a preference for candidates or small teams with an existing, portable client base and demonstrated ability to originate work and integrate with broader practice groups. The search prioritizes team moves over individual hires.

Established partner-level experience in corporate transactions and commercial litigation.
Track record in one or more target sectors: life sciences, financial services, technology, energy or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, originate work and collaborate with cross‑border practices.
Portable client relationships and a proven record of business development; team submissions encouraged.
