Partner — Corporate / M&A, Capital Markets & Technology Transactions — Austin

Established global law firm is seeking a partner to join its Austin corporate team and help grow a cross-practice platform focused on M&A, capital markets and technology transactions. The role will work with deal teams across corporate, securities and technology practices and support emerging growth, PE and issuer-side capital markets matters.

The ideal partner will have a portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and develop client relationships, lead teams on complex transactions, and work collaboratively with IP, securities and technology specialists across offices. The position will participate in business development, client management and mentoring of junior lawyers.

• Partner-level experience in corporate/M&A and capital markets, with transactional focus on technology, emerging growth or PE-backed deals.
• Proven track record of originating or managing significant client relationships and cross-border or multi-office matters.
• Demonstrated team leadership, deal execution skills, and experience working with securities and technology transactions teams.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and availability to be based in or regularly work from the Austin office.
