Leading international firm seeks a lateral partner to strengthen its corporate and M&A capability in Düsseldorf. The role involves leading transactions, advising German and cross-border clients, and growing a market-facing practice.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and be expected to originate work, manage deal teams and mentor junior lawyers. This is an opportunity to take a senior role within an established platform while developing your own client base in Germany.

Established partner with a proven M&A track record in Germany and experience on cross-border transactions.
Ability to bring a portable practice / book of business and to develop new client relationships.
Strong leadership and team-management skills; experience mentoring and supervising associates.
Excellent commercial judgment, negotiation skills and fluency in German and English.
