Major national law firm seeking an experienced partner to lead and grow its corporate transactional and governance practice in Atlanta. The role will focus on mergers & acquisitions, complex commercial transactions and advising boards and senior management on governance matters.

The successful candidate will join a busy, collaborative team and will have responsibility for originating and executing deals, supervising associates, and developing client relationships across the region and nationally. Portable business is welcomed and candidates with an existing client base will be given priority.

Established partner with a proven record in M&A and corporate transactional work
Deep experience advising on corporate governance and board-level matters
Demonstrable ability to originate work and grow client relationships; portable business welcomed
Strong leadership and team-management skills; comfortable supervising associates and mentoring junior lawyers
