Partner — Corporate (M&A) — New York

A leading US law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its New York corporate practice with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and complex transactional work. The role offers the opportunity to lead high‑value deals, advise boards and senior executives on governance matters, and collaborate across domestic and cross‑border transactions.

The successful candidate will build and manage a team of associates and counsel, drive business development efforts in the region, and work alongside established partners on sophisticated client engagements. The team handles buy‑ and sell‑side transactions, private company and PE work, and general corporate advisory matters.

Portable practice and client relationships are welcome; the firm seeks a partner who can contribute immediate client origination while also expanding long‑term market presence in New York.

• Established partner-level experience in M&A and corporate transactions
• Proven track record leading complex deals and advising corporate boards
• Demonstrated business development ability and client relationship management
• Experience managing and mentoring junior lawyers
• Admission to the New York bar (or qualified and able to transfer admission) preferred
