A leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its New York corporate team focused on M&A and complex transactional work. The role offers responsibility for originating and leading high-value deals and advising sophisticated corporate clients across sectors.

The successful hire will join a collaborative, market-facing practice with established deal flow and experienced transactional teams. This is a visible position with client development, deal execution and team leadership responsibilities.

Proven partner-level M&A/transactional experience with a track record of leading significant domestic and cross-border deals.
Demonstrable ability to bring or grow a portable client base and develop new business.
Strong technical drafting, negotiation and project management skills; experience mentoring associates.
Admission to the New York bar or ability to be admitted; excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills.
