Partner — Corporate & M&A (Phoenix)

Established global law firm is expanding its Phoenix office and seeks a lateral partner to lead and grow a corporate practice focused on M&A, capital markets and emerging-growth / technology company work. The role will also coordinate with the firm’s IP and litigation teams on transactional and dispute-prone matters.

The partner will have responsibility for originating and executing complex transactions (issuer-side capital markets work, private M&A and PE-related deals) and advising technology and life-sciences clients on commercial and transactional issues. The team works closely with national and international offices on cross-border deals and regulated-sector matters, including energy and financial services.

Portable client relationships and demonstrable business development ability are important; the firm welcomes established groups or strong individual partners able to integrate with an existing platform and drive growth in the region.

• Established partner with a proven corporate/M&A practice and capital markets experience
• Track record working with technology, life sciences, financial services or energy clients; PE deal experience preferred
• Experience coordinating with IP and litigation teams on transactional and dispute matters
• Demonstrable business development / portable client relationships and ability to build a regional practice
• Bar admission in the relevant US jurisdiction and senior-level leadership experience
