Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to expand its corporate and transactional practice from the Chicago office. The role blends M&A and other corporate transactions with sector-focused work in renewable energy, oil & gas, and technology-related deals.

The successful candidate will lead client engagements, advise on complex asset and project development transactions, and support capital markets and tech-related corporate work. A track record of originating and managing client relationships is important.

Partner-level experience in M&A and corporate/transactional matters
Substantial sector experience in renewables, energy (including oil & gas), and/or technology transactions
Experience on capital markets or financing-related corporate work preferred
Proven business development skills and ability to bring or grow a portable practice
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to practice in Illinois
