Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Silicon Valley office to lead and expand corporate, technology transactions and intellectual property-related work. The role will sit in a market-facing team that handles M&A, capital markets, emerging growth and technology-licensing matters across the US and internationally.

The team advises issuers, sponsors and technology companies on strategic corporate transactions, capital markets work and technology/IP disputes and agreements. The firm is looking for a partner with a portable practice or a demonstrated ability to originate and develop client relationships and to integrate into a broader cross-border platform.

Proven partner-level experience in corporate transactions (M&A and/or capital markets), technology transactions and/or IP-related matters
Established client relationships or track record of originating work; ability to grow a portable practice preferred
Experience advising technology, life sciences, financial services or energy-sector clients is a plus
Strong commercial judgment, excellent client-management skills and comfort working on cross-border matters
