Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its corporate practice in Los Angeles, focusing on M&A, capital markets and technology-related transactions. The role sits at the intersection of corporate work and technology/IP matters and will advise emerging growth companies, issuers and strategic acquirers across technology, life sciences and financial services.

The team handles buy- and sell-side M&A, private and public capital markets work, emerging-growth financings and a range of technology transactions and IP-related commercial matters. The hire will work with regional and national deal teams and collaborate across practices on cross-border or sector-specific matters.

This is a partner-level opportunity for an established rainmaker or producer looking to leverage an existing portable practice while contributing to a growing West Coast platform.

Established partner with significant corporate/M&A and capital markets transaction experience, including technology-related deals
Track record of originating and leading client engagements; portable book of business preferred
Experience advising emerging growth companies, issuers and strategic acquirers; familiarity with IP or tech-transaction issues a plus
Strong client development and team leadership skills; able to work across offices on regional and national matters
Active admission in California or ability to become admitted
