Partner — Corporate, Technology & IP Transactions, Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to help grow a busy Washington, D.C. corporate practice focused on M&A, capital markets, and technology transactions. The role will also work closely with intellectual property and finance teams on transactional matters and select IP litigation support.

The position offers significant client-facing responsibility: advising issuer-side capital markets, private equity and strategic acquirers, emerging-growth companies and technology clients. The team is expanding and is looking for a senior lawyer who can both originate new work and mentor junior lawyers.

• Established partner-level experience in corporate transactions (M&A and/or capital markets) and technology transactions; experience working with IP-related matters is a plus.
• Proven business development and client relationship skills; track record of originating or significantly expanding client work.
• Ability to lead deals, manage teams, and collaborate across finance, IP and technology-focused practices.
• Bar admission in the U.S.; prior experience in a large, cross-border practice preferred.
