The role focuses on representing employers in complex employment disputes, wage-and-hour matters, discrimination and retaliation claims, and related labor issues.
The partner will manage case strategy from intake through trial, supervise associates and staff, and collaborate with regional colleagues on cross-jurisdictional matters. Strong client-development skills are important; candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable business origination experience are encouraged to apply.
- Established partner with significant experience defending employers in employment and labor litigation.
- Proven trial and courtroom experience; able to lead high-stakes matters from pleadings through trial.
- Track record of managing and mentoring associates and support teams.
- Business development experience; portable book of business or ability to originate and grow client relationships preferred.
- Admission to practice in Montana or eligibility for admission, and good standing in relevant jurisdictions.
