Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Houston Energy & Environmental team. The role will focus on upstream and midstream energy matters and renewable energy transactions, with emphasis on cross-border and complex regulatory work.

The team is looking for a partner with a portable practice and a strong track record of client origination and relationship management. Candidates who combine environmental and regulatory experience with transactional energy expertise — including renewables — are particularly welcome.

Established partner with significant experience in energy and environmental matters
Proven record of originating and managing client work and the ability to bring a portable practice
Experience leading teams and working on complex, cross-border transactions and regulatory matters
Strong commercial judgment, client-facing skills, and credentials to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
