Established international law firm seeks a partner to strengthen its Energy and Environmental practice in London. The role focuses on advising clients across energy projects, environmental regulation, compliance and related commercial matters, with responsibility for leading fee-earning work and managing senior client relationships.

The successful candidate will join a cross‑border team and work closely with colleagues across practices to handle transactions, regulatory matters and disputes. There is an expectation to contribute to business development and to grow a portable practice in the sector.

This is a partner‑level role for an experienced energy/environment lawyer who wants a visible leadership position within a well‑resourced, collaborative firm.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent) with partner‑level experience in energy and/or environmental law.
Proven track record advising on energy projects, environmental permitting, regulatory compliance and related commercial matters.
Demonstrable client development skills and ability to originate and grow work; portable practice desirable.
Experience leading teams, managing matters and mentoring senior associates.
Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and ability to work across a cross‑border team.
