Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its New York energy and environmental team. The role is focused on transactional and regulatory work across traditional and renewable energy, and will collaborate closely with the corporate and private equity groups.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and lead market-facing business, supervise junior lawyers, and work on cross-border and domestic matters. Candidates with an established energy-related practice—particularly those with renewables, regulatory, or private equity-linked experience—are of high interest.

Proven partner-level energy/environmental practice with a portable client base appropriate for a major international firm
Transactional and regulatory experience in energy and renewables; private equity-related mandates a plus
Demonstrated ability to originate work, lead deal teams, and mentor junior lawyers
Authorized to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction
