Leading law firm seeks a partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in Oakland. The role will focus on advising clients across transactional, regulatory and policy matters in the energy and environmental sectors.

The team handles a mix of counseling and contentious matters for corporate and institutional clients. The office is open to candidates nationwide and to partners with a portable practice who can develop and grow client relationships within the firm’s energy-focused platform.

Established partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental law
Proven business development skills and a portable client base welcomed
Strong technical knowledge of regulatory, permitting and transactional issues in the energy sector
Ability to work collaboratively across practice groups and to mentor junior lawyers; admission to practice in a relevant U.S. jurisdiction
