Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow its Energy & Environmental practice in the Silicon Valley market. The role will handle complex regulatory and transactional matters for clients across the energy sector and related industries.

The ideal candidate will have substantial partner-level experience advising on environmental regulation, permitting, and enforcement matters — including familiarity with EPA processes and state regulatory regimes. This is a business-development oriented role: the firm is looking for a partner with an established, portable practice or demonstrable client origination capabilities.

Partner-level experience in energy and environmental law, with strong regulatory and permitting background
Experience with EPA matters and state environmental regulatory frameworks
Proven business development skills and a portable practice or clear book-building track record
Excellent client management, drafting, and negotiation abilities
Active bar membership and ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
