The role will focus on renewable energy, traditional oil & gas matters, energy regulatory work and related tax issues, with frequent involvement in maritime and construction-related projects.
The successful candidate will build and manage a team, advise clients across transactional and regulatory matters, and work closely with tax specialists on deal structuring. This is a partner-track lateral role suited to a lawyer with an established, portable practice in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and active good standing
- Proven partner-level experience in energy and environmental matters; experience advising on tax and/or maritime/construction issues preferred
- Track record of business development and an existing portable practice or client relationships
- Strong leadership, team management and cross-practice collaboration skills
