Apply in confidence →Seeking a lateral partner to join a leading firm’s Washington, D.C. office to lead and expand an interdisciplinary practice focusing on energy, environmental, and tax matters. The role will handle complex work across renewable energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, maritime-related construction issues, and related regulatory matters.
Ideal candidate will have partner-level experience advising project sponsors, owners and other stakeholders on transactional, regulatory and tax aspects of energy and infrastructure projects, and will help grow a robust practice in the D.C. market. Portable client relationships and demonstrated origination ability are welcome.
- Partner-level experience in energy and related infrastructure matters, including renewables and oil & gas
- Strong background in environmental and tax aspects of energy projects; experience with maritime/construction-related issues is a plus
- Proven client origination and relationship-management skills; ability to bring or develop business
- Demonstrated regulatory experience before federal/state agencies and ability to lead deal teams
