Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in Washington, D.C. The role will focus on advising energy-sector and environmental clients on regulatory, transactional and compliance matters.

Open to candidates nationwide; the firm is especially interested in partners who can grow a market-facing practice and collaborate across industry teams. Portable client relationships and a demonstrated ability to originate and develop business are welcome.

• Established partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental law.
• Proven track record of client development and relationship management; portable book of business welcomed.
• Experience with regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters affecting the energy sector.
• Bar admission in D.C. or eligibility to transfer/obtain admission.
• Strong leadership, team-collaboration and practice-building skills.
