Apply in confidence →Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Dallas energy practice, with a focus on energy tax, renewables, oil & gas, infrastructure and maritime construction matters. The role combines transactional, regulatory and advisory work across upstream, midstream and project development matters.
The post-holder will advise corporate and project clients on complex tax and regulatory structuring, energy project documentation, and construction and maritime issues tied to energy infrastructure. The team works across U.S. offices and with cross-practice specialists on multi-jurisdictional matters.
Applicants with an established, portable practice and demonstrable business development capability are encouraged to apply; the role offers opportunity to lead and expand a regional energy/tax platform.
- Established partner-level experience in energy transactions, project development or related regulatory work, with significant tax experience preferred.
- Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable book of business welcomed.
- Strong technical skills in energy tax and regulatory matters; experience with renewable energy and oil & gas transactions an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management ability; experience working with cross-practice and cross-office teams.
