Opportunity for a partner-level lawyer to join a well-established national firm’s Wilmington office focusing on energy-related work, including renewable energy, oil & gas, maritime and construction matters. The role combines tax counseling with transactional and regulatory aspects across energy and infrastructure projects.

The team advises corporate and project clients on tax structuring, regulatory compliance and contract issues for offshore and onshore energy projects and related construction arrangements. The practice regularly works on cross-disciplinary matters that require coordination between tax, environmental and transactional teams.

This is a growth role suitable for an experienced partner with a portable practice or demonstrable client origination ability in the energy/infrastructure sector.

  • Partner-level experience in energy, infrastructure or maritime-related tax work.
  • Proven track record advising on renewable energy, oil & gas or energy construction projects, including regulatory and contract issues.
  • Strong tax technical skills with experience on transactional structuring and compliance.
  • Business-development ability and a portable book of business or clear origination pipeline preferred.
  • Active bar admission and ability to work in the Wilmington office.
