Highly regarded law firm is seeking a partner to lead and expand its Environmental Compliance & Regulatory practice in the Newark office. The role focuses on counseling clients on environmental regulatory matters, permitting, compliance programs and related litigation risk.

The successful candidate will advise corporate and public-sector clients across regulated industries, manage a team of lawyers and deliver practical, commercially focused solutions. Experience with CEQA-related matters is a plus.

This is a partner-level role with expectations for practice leadership and business development; candidates with a portable practice or demonstrated ability to generate and grow client relationships are encouraged to apply.

Established partner-level experience in environmental regulatory and compliance matters.
Proven track record of leading teams and managing client matters at a senior level.
Experience with environmental permitting, regulatory counseling and related compliance programs; CEQA experience desired.
Demonstrated business development ability or a portable practice; admission to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s).
