Senior partner hire to lead and grow an established energy and environmental practice from the firm's Newark office. The role will cover transactional, regulatory and tax matters across energy, renewable projects, oil & gas, maritime and infrastructure-related construction work.

The successful candidate will advise sophisticated clients on project development, regulatory compliance and tax structuring, and will collaborate with national teams on cross-border and multi-disciplinary matters. This is a client-facing leadership role with responsibility for originating work and mentoring junior lawyers.

Proven partner-level background in energy, environmental and related tax matters; experience with maritime or construction aspects desirable.
Demonstrable track-record advising on renewable energy, oil & gas or large infrastructure projects.
Established client relationships and ability to generate and originate business; a portable practice is preferred.
Strong leadership, team management and business development capabilities.
