Seeking a partner to build and lead an environmental compliance and regulatory practice from the firm’s Newark office. The role will focus on environmental regulatory matters, land and natural resources issues, and related compliance counseling for corporate and public-sector clients.

Ideal candidates will have significant partner-level experience advising on environmental permitting, regulatory strategy, and enforcement defense. Experience with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) matters and land-use/regulatory processes is highly desirable.

The hiring team welcomes candidates with a portable practice and demonstrable client development capabilities. The role includes business development, matter leadership, and mentoring junior lawyers.

Established partner-level experience in environmental law, regulatory counseling, and compliance matters.
Demonstrated experience with land & natural resources issues; CEQA experience preferred.
Proven client development record and ability to manage and grow a practice.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to practice in Newark/New Jersey.
