Leading U.S. law firm is seeking a lateral partner to grow and lead its Environmental & Energy practice in its New Jersey office. This role is ideal for an experienced partner who can originate work, develop a regional platform, and manage a busy, varied environmental and energy matters portfolio.

The practice covers regulatory counseling, permitting, compliance, enforcement defense, and energy-related transactional and project support. The role offers significant business-development opportunity, support from national practice teams, and scope to build a local team and client base.

Established partner with substantial experience in environmental and energy matters
Proven track record of originating work and business development; portable client relationships encouraged
Experience with permitting, compliance, regulatory counseling, and enforcement defense; transactional experience in energy matters a plus
Admission to practice in New Jersey (or ability to obtain) and strong leadership/team-building skills
