Seeking a partner to lead and grow an environmental and regulatory compliance practice in a busy Chicago office. The role focuses on environmental law, regulatory counseling and compliance matters for a varied client base across public- and private-sector projects.

The hire will advise on environmental regulatory risks, permitting and compliance programs, and related land and natural-resources issues; experience with CEQA-style environmental review/regulatory frameworks is highly desirable. This is a partner-level role with responsibility for team leadership, client development and expanding the practice.

Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction; active Illinois admission preferred.
Established partner with significant experience in environmental law, regulatory counseling and compliance matters.
Experience with environmental review/regulatory processes (CEQA or analogous frameworks) preferred.
Proven ability to lead engagements, supervise teams and contribute to business development; a portable client base or track record of originations is welcome.
