The role will advise corporate and government-facing clients on regulatory compliance, government contracts, and electric/gas sector issues.
Ideal candidates will have an established regulatory practice and experience handling matters at the intersection of environment, energy and transportation policy. The position offers a platform to lead engagements, grow a portable practice and mentor junior lawyers within a multidisciplinary team.
- Partner-level experience with a track record in environmental and regulatory matters, preferably including energy (electric/gas) and transportation regulatory work.
- Proven client development skills and an established/portable practice or demonstrable book of business.
- Experience with government contracts or public-sector regulatory proceedings preferred.
- Bar admission in the U.S.; Washington, D.C. admission preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong writing, oral advocacy and team leadership skills.
