Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Finance & Banking practice in Chicago. The role focuses on advising banks, sponsors and corporate borrowers on a range of banking and secured finance matters.

The team handles syndicated and bilateral lending, asset-based financings, and other commercial finance transactions. The role offers significant client-facing responsibility and involvement in originating and executing credit facilities across sectors.

Ideal for an experienced finance partner with an established portable practice or demonstrable business development capability who wants to lead and grow a transactional lending practice in a major US market.

Established partner with significant experience in banking and finance transactions (syndicated loans, asset-based lending, secured financings).
Licensed to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction; strong academic and professional credentials.
Track record of client origination, relationship management, and business development; portability of client relationships preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively on cross-office and cross-practice matters and to mentor junior lawyers.
