Established national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Chicago Finance & Corporate teams and lead work in investment and asset management. The role will involve originating and handling complex fund, asset-management and investment-vehicle matters across corporate and finance disciplines.

The partner will have leadership responsibilities within the practice, collaborating with transaction teams and supervising junior lawyers. The firm values proven business development ability and welcomes a portable practice to accelerate growth in the investment/asset management space.

Partner-level experience advising on investment management/asset management matters and related corporate/finance transactions.
Proven track record of originating business and the ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Strong technical skills in fund formation, investor-side or manager-side work, and related regulatory/commercial issues.
Admission to practice in Illinois or ability to become admitted; excellent client-facing and team leadership skills.
