Leading national law firm seeks a senior lateral partner to join its Chicago practice, focused on finance, corporate and securities matters. The role will involve advising private equity and venture capital sponsors, corporate issuers and lenders on debt and equity financings, M&A-related financing and capital markets transactions.

The successful candidate will build and lead deal teams, originate and grow client relationships, and work across US and cross-border matters with existing practice groups. A portable book of business is welcome; the firm offers a full platform to support client development and execution.

Established partner-level experience advising on private equity, venture capital and capital markets or related financing transactions
Proven track record of originating and managing client work and leading deal teams
Bar admission in the US and experience on US transactional matters; experience with cross-border matters a plus
Strong business development and relationship-management skills; comfort working across practice groups
