Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy Finance & Banking group in San Francisco with a strong insurance-sector focus. The role will lead and originate transactional work involving financings, debt restructurings, and insurance-related corporate matters, working with institutional and corporate clients.

The position excludes insurer‑adverse coverage litigation or defense matters; the emphasis is on transactional, regulatory and advisory matters for insured parties and insurers in non‑coverage contexts. This is a senior role with expectations for client development, team leadership and practice growth.

Established partner with a track record in finance and insurance-related transactions
Proven client origination and relationship management skills; ability to bring or develop portable business
Experience leading teams on complex financings and corporate matters
Active bar admission and excellent communication and commercial judgment
