Partner — Finance & Banking, Washington, D.C.

Seeking a partner to join a well-established national law firm’s Finance & Banking team in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on leading and growing a transactional banking and finance practice, advising lenders and borrowers on a range of credit and financing matters.

The successful candidate will be client-facing, responsible for originating and managing engagements, mentoring junior lawyers, and working across practice groups on complex financings. The team handles syndicated loans, asset-based financings, real estate and corporate lending matters.

• Partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions (syndicated loans, asset-based lending, acquisition financings, real estate finance)
• Proven client origination and relationship-management skills; portable practice/book of business welcome
• Experience leading deal teams and mentoring associates
• Active bar admission (or eligibility) in D.C.; JD and strong academic credentials
