Leading German law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Cologne finance and corporate team, focusing on asset management and investment management matters. The role combines transactional work with client relationship management across funds, investment vehicles and regulated managers.

The successful candidate will take a senior technical and client-facing role within an established practice group, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across Germany and internationally. There is an expectation to contribute to business development and to bring or build a portable client base.

Established partner-level experience in finance, banking and corporate work, with demonstrable asset/investment management expertise
Proven track record on fund, investment vehicle or manager-side transactions and regulatory matters
Ability to originate and maintain client relationships; portable book of business desirable
Fluent German and English; qualification/admission to practice in Germany preferred
