Leading German law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Finance & Banking and Corporate teams in Düsseldorf. The role focuses on advising asset managers and investment vehicles across regulated and commercial transactions, fund-related structures and related corporate matters.

The successful candidate will take a senior client-facing role, leading matters, developing business and mentoring junior lawyers. A portable practice or demonstrable origination capability is desirable; the firm is open to flexible arrangements for the right candidate.

Proven partner-level experience in finance, banking or corporate work with a focus on asset/investment management
Strong track record of originating and managing client relationships (portable book of business a plus)
Qualified to practise in Germany (admission or equivalent) and comfortable operating in German and English
Experience leading teams and supervising complex cross-border matters
