Partner — Finance & Energy (Project Finance, Renewables), Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its Finance & Banking group in the Washington, D.C. office with a focus on energy and project finance, particularly renewable energy transactions. The role will involve leading complex financings, advising sponsors and lenders, and coordinating cross-practice support on large-scale energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven partner-level track record in project finance and renewables, comfortable supervising teams and driving business development. There is an expectation that the hire will help grow the practice in the region and expand client relationships; a portable practice or demonstrable business development pipeline is welcome.

• Partner-level experience in project finance and renewable energy transactions.
• Strong experience representing sponsors, lenders, or investors on complex financings.
• Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable practice or clear business development record preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and team leadership skills.
• Active bar admission and capacity to practice in Washington, D.C., or willingness to obtain admission.
