Senior partner-level role within a national financial services practice, focused on corporate, regulatory and transactional matters. The role will advise financial institutions, insurers, intermediaries and fund managers on commercial and regulatory matters across Canadian and cross-border mandates.

The successful candidate will join a large international firm’s Montreal office and contribute to client development and team leadership. There is a preference for candidates with experience in fund management/fund formation or portfolio management and an ability to originate and grow a portable practice.

Established partner with a corporate, regulatory or transactional financial‑services background (litigation candidates not sought)
Proven experience advising banks, insurers, intermediaries and/or fund managers
Track record of originating and developing a portable practice; ability to bring client relationships
Interest or experience in fund formation, fund management or portfolio management
Admitted or eligible to practise in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction
