Leading global law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its financial services practice in Toronto. The role is focused on transactional, corporate and regulatory work for the financial services sector.

Ideal candidates will have experience advising banks, insurers, intermediaries and/or fund managers, and an interest or background in fund management, fund formation or portfolio management. The team handles cross-border matters and works with other international offices.

This is a partner-level role open to candidates based in Toronto or Montreal. A portable practice is expected; the firm will consider senior strategic profiles.

Established partner with a strong, demonstrable financial‑services practice (corporate/transactional/regulatory focus)
Track record advising banks, insurers, intermediaries and/or fund managers
Experience or interest in fund management, fund formation or portfolio management
Resident in or willing to relocate to Toronto or Montreal; comfortable working on cross‑border matters
