Established national law firm is seeking a partner to join and grow its Government & Public practice in Chicago. The role focuses on advising public-sector clients, regulated entities, and private clients on government affairs, regulatory strategy, and public policy matters.

The ideal candidate will lead client engagements, supervise and mentor lawyers, and work collaboratively across practice groups to win and execute matters. There is an expectation that a lateral hire will contribute to business development and may bring a portable practice.

Established partner-level experience in government, public policy, or regulatory practice.
Proven ability to originate and grow client relationships; a portable practice is desirable.
Track record of leading teams and managing complex client matters.
Able to be based in the firm’s Chicago office and collaborate across practices.
