Leading national practice seeks a lateral partner to join its Ottawa insolvency and restructuring team. The role focuses on debtor-side matters across the full insolvency spectrum, combining transactional, advisory and contested insolvency litigation.

The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial lawyer who can manage complex files independently, help grow the practice locally, and work closely with an energetic, established insolvency lead. A formal portable book is not required, though evidence of client origination or a track record of building client relationships is valued.

Approx. 10–15 years' experience in insolvency/restructuring with a debtor-side focus
Proven experience on both litigation and transactional insolvency matters
Demonstrated ability to run files independently and supervise junior lawyers
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience generating or developing client relationships
Licensed to practise in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction (Ontario preferred)
