Partner — Insurance Practice — Washington, D.C.

Established insurance practice seeking a lateral partner to join a Washington, D.C. office focused on representing policyholders. The role emphasizes leadership of matters, development of client relationships, and participation in high‑value insurance disputes and counseling across federal and state forums.

The firm is looking for a partner who will lead and grow a policyholder-oriented practice, work closely with litigation and regulatory teams, and contribute to business development and strategic client advice.

• Proven partner-level experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage, defense/coverage litigation, and related regulatory or counseling matters.
• Record of originating client work and ability to grow a portable practice (portable book of business required).
• Strong courtroom and/or arbitration experience and comfort managing complex, high‑stakes matters.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in D.C.; excellent writing, client-facing, and team leadership skills.
