Leading national firm seeks an Insurance Regulatory Partner to join its Chicago compliance and regulatory group. The role focuses on counseling insurers and related clients on regulatory, compliance and licensing matters across state and federal regimes.

This senior position will advise on regulatory strategy, regulatory investigations, licensing, and ongoing compliance programs, and will work closely with cross-practice teams on transactional and regulatory aspects. The team handles matters for carriers, MGAs, and other insurance market participants.

Candidates should bring a proven track record in insurance regulatory work and a history of business development; candidates with a portable practice will be given strong consideration.

Approximately 12+ years' experience in insurance regulatory and compliance work.
Deep knowledge of state insurance regulation, licensing, and regulatory investigations.
Demonstrated client development skills and ability to bring or grow a portable book of business.
Strong drafting, counseling and project-management skills; experience leading matters and mentoring junior lawyers.
