Established national law firm is seeking a partner to join its Austin office to lead and grow a combined intellectual property and antitrust practice. The role will focus on patent litigation (with an emphasis on life sciences and technology) and antitrust litigation matters often connected to private equity transactions.

The successful candidate will take a senior litigation role, managing major matters, supervising teams, and developing client relationships across life sciences, technology and private equity clients. The firm supports an open compensation system and is seeking a partner with an established, portable litigation practice.

Partner-level patent litigation and antitrust litigation experience, including trial or contested matter experience
Demonstrable experience representing life sciences and/or technology clients and working on matters tied to private equity
Proven client-development track record and a portable practice or demonstrable book of business
Ability to lead teams, mentor junior lawyers, and manage high-stakes litigation
Admission to the relevant state bar and good standing
