Partner — Intellectual Property & Antitrust (Austin)

Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its Austin office to lead and expand a combined IP litigation and antitrust practice. The role emphasizes patent litigation (particularly life‑sciences and technology matters), antitrust litigation tied to private‑equity work, and cross‑practice business development.

The partner will work with established teams across technology, media & entertainment, life sciences and energy industry groups to handle high‑stakes disputes and transactional antitrust matters. This is a rainmaking role: the firm is looking for a partner with a portable practice and the ability to originate and manage client relationships.

• Established partner with significant experience in patent litigation and antitrust litigation (including matters involving private‑equity clients)
• Track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable business welcomed
• Industry focus in technology, life sciences, private equity and/or energy
• Ability to lead case teams, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate across practices
