Partner — Intellectual Property & Antitrust Litigation, Chicago

Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago litigation team focusing on intellectual property and antitrust matters. The role emphasizes patent litigation (with a strong life‑sciences and technology focus) and antitrust work tied to private equity and commercial disputes.

The successful candidate will join a cross‑disciplinary practice that collaborates closely with finance, energy and technology groups. This is a client‑facing role that combines trial and appellate work, strategic case management, and business development within established industry sectors.

• Established partner with significant courtroom/trial experience in patent litigation and/or antitrust litigation
• Demonstrated experience serving life‑sciences and technology clients, and handling matters connected to private equity transactions
• Proven ability to originate and grow matters — portable client relationships and a demonstrable book of business preferred
• Strong leadership skills, team collaboration across practice groups, and excellent written and oral advocacy
