Partner — Intellectual Property & Antitrust, Washington, D.C.

Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Washington, D.C. IP and antitrust litigation capabilities. The role will focus on patent litigation (particularly life sciences and technology matters) and antitrust work linked to private equity and transactional disputes.

The successful candidate will join a cross-disciplinary team handling high‑value, complex disputes and policy‑oriented matters. You will collaborate with transactional, energy and corporate colleagues on industry matters while building and leading litigation strategies in court and before agencies.

Portable client relationships and an ability to generate and develop new business in life sciences, technology or private equity sectors are important for success in this role.

• Established partner with a proven track record in patent litigation and antitrust/competition disputes.
• Significant experience representing clients in life sciences and technology matters; experience advising private equity clients a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships; portable book of business required.
• Strong courtroom and agency advocacy skills, plus experience managing teams on complex, multi‑forum matters.
• Bar admission and professional standing appropriate for a D.C. partner role.
